Introduction

An available update for Microsoft Test Manager 2010 resolves the following issues.

Issue 1

Consider the following scenario:
  • You use Test Manager 2010 to rename a parameter for a shared step.
  • You click Save and Close to save the changes.
  • You open a test case that uses the shared step.
In this scenario, the original name of the parameter unexpectedly appears in the test case.

Note When this issue occurs, the new name of the parameter also appears in the test case.

Issue 2

When you set the Microsoft Test Manager window to the default dimensions, the Steps tab displays only two shared steps.
