Fixes included in this hotfix rollup

This hotfix rollup includes fixes for the following issues.

Issue 1

You run a peer channel application that uses WCF in the .NET Framework 3.0 and joins a mesh for communication. The application crashes because of a Time Out exception that resembles the following:
Exception type: System.ApplicationException
Message: This operation returned because the timeout period expired. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800705B4)
InnerException: <none>
StackTrace (generated):
SP IP Function
000000001BDBEA10 0000000000000001 System.Threading.ReaderWriterLock.AcquireWriterLockInternal(Int32)
000000001BDBEA10 000007FEF98C285E System.Threading.ReaderWriterLock.AcquireWriterLock(System.TimeSpan)
000000001BDBEA50 000007FEF77818C5 System.ServiceModel.PeerResolvers.CustomPeerResolverService+LiteLock.Acquire(LiteLock ByRef, System.Threading.ReaderWriterLock, Boolean)
000000001BDBEAC0 000007FEF7780B65 System.ServiceModel.PeerResolvers.CustomPeerResolverService.CleanupMeshEntry(MeshEntry)
000000001BDBEC70 000007FEF77809CE System.ServiceModel.PeerResolvers.CustomPeerResolverService.CleanupActivity(System.Object)
000000001BDBECF0 000007FEF6C7713B System.ServiceModel.Channels.IOThreadScheduler+CriticalHelper+WorkItem.Invoke2()
000000001BDBED70 000007FEF92E95AA System.Security.SecurityContext.Run(System.Security.SecurityContext, System.Threading.ContextCallback, System.Object)
000000001BDBEDB0 000007FEF6C77090 System.ServiceModel.Channels.IOThreadScheduler+CriticalHelper+WorkItem.Invoke()
000000001BDBEE00 000007FEF6C76FB1 System.ServiceModel.Channels.IOThreadScheduler+CriticalHelper.ProcessCallbacks()
000000001BDBEE70 000007FEF6C76E33 System.ServiceModel.Channels.IOThreadScheduler+CriticalHelper.CompletionCallback(System.Object)
This issue occurs because of a deadlock that occurs when the PeerChannel client application does not correctly update its registrations or when a node in the mesh disconnects ungracefully. When this occurs, the CustomPeerResolverService object times out when it tries to obtain the internal ReaderWriterLock object.

Issue 2

You run a WCF service that meets the following conditions:
  • The service uses only one proxy and calls many operations in the proxy.
  • The service uses a duplex messaging pattern.
  • An asynchronous result is added to the RequestReplyCorrelator object and cannot be removed until a response is provided.

When an error occurs in a request operation, the request cannot be processed. Additionally, the memory for the related request message and customer object cannot be released.

This issue occurs because of a memory leak in the ChannelFactoryRef object.
