System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 Interop Connectors supported Windows operating systems

Summary

The R2 connectors for System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 have components that can run on Windows Operating Systems. There are two components to the Connectors: The Connector service, and the provider that runs on the remote computer.

The following list is the supported Windows configurations with Cumulative Update 2 (CU2) for the connectors installed:

Connector Service:

Windows Server 2003 x86 and x64 SP1 or higher

Windows Server 2008 x86 and x64

Windows Provider:

Windows Server 2003 x86 and x64 SP1 or higher

Windows Server 2008 x86 and x64

More Information

Many of the Providers for the connectors can run on Unix Operating systems. Please see the documentation for each connector to see if an Operating System is supported.

Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 has not been tested, and is not supported.
