Nested Windows Installer (MSI) package failes to install when Applocker policy is enabled

Symptoms

Nested MSI package may fail to install when AppLocker policy is configured (including AppLocker audit only mode).

Cause

AppLocker is unable to aquire access to the nested MSI package to verify content, causing the failure.

Resolution

Temperally disable AppLocker policy, or contact your application vendor to recompile installer package without nested packages.
