Symptoms

Assume that you try to access files in a WebDAV shared folder from a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. The WebDav folder is located on a server that uses forms-based authentication. In this situation, you receive an "access denied" error message.
This issue occurs because the WebClient service continues to use an expired forms-based authentication cookie.
