Only one data file detail line is imported to the Sales Order (40.100.00) and Shippers (40.110.00) screens by the transaction import process in Microsoft Dynamics SL

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Transaction Import and Order Management in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

When you use the Transaction Import (98.500.00) screen to import more than one detail line into the Sales Orders (40.100.00) screen or into the Shippers (40.110.00) screen and you click to select the Run Minimized check box, you notice that only the first detail line is imported.

Additionally, you receive an event log entry that contains the following error message:

System Message 8036: Invalid attempt to populate a disabled field: % with value: %

Workaround

To work around this problem, run the transaction import process with the Run Minimized check box unchecked.

Resolution
