Summary

Install this update to resolve some issues in Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 in which a PS/2 station’s audio is not connected to the correct audio device.

INTRODUCTION

This update resolves issues on a computer that has a configured PS/2 station and that has multiple non-USB audio devices. When the issues occur, you may hear no sound from the audio device on the PS/2 station, or the audio from the session is sent to the audio device on another station. This update is necessary in the following scenarios:
  • The audio devices of a PS/2 station are connected to the audio ports on the chassis of a computer.
  • A computer has multiple non-USB audio devices that are physical or virtual.
