A value that was manually entered in the Rate box in the Project Timesheet through the Rate/Amount Entry (TM.PTA.00) screen is unexpectedly changed back to the default value in Microsoft Dynamics SL

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Time and Expense for Projects in Microsoft Dynamics SL:
  • You change the value in the Rate box to something other than the default value in the Project Timesheet with Rate/Amount Entry (TM.PTA.00) screen without first putting the pointer in the Subaccount box.
  • You put the pointer in the next line of the detail grid.
When you do this, you notice that the value that you entered into the Rate box is replaced by the default value. You expect this value to remain unchanged.

Workaround

To work around this problem, put the pointer in the Subaccount box before you change the value in the Rate box.

Resolution
