Symptoms

Assume that you install the item availability timeline application in the Greek version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. When you run the Item Availability page (64004) with a special character, you receive an error message that resembles as follows:
'^', hexadecimal value 0x15, is an invalid character. Line2, position 85.
This problem occurs in the following products:
  • The Greek version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2
  • The Greek version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
