The operation to insert data into a DB2 database fails

Symptoms

In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 environment, you try to insert data into a DB2 database. However, this operation fails.

Cause

This issue occurs when CHAR data types that contain a binary zero (NULL) are inserted into a DB2 database.

Hotfix information
