FIX: A memory leak occurs when you quickly remove and then reinsert a storage device that is inserted into a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You insert a storage device such as an SD card or a CF card into a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device.
  • You quickly remove and then reinsert the storage device.
In this scenario, a memory leak in a File System Disk Manager (FSDMGR) function may occur. This causes the performance of the device to decrease over time.

Cause

This issue occurs because the FSDMGR function that compares the partitions does not reclaim an array when the array is no longer needed.
