The recipients in some email messages are missing after you run Scanpst.exe on a .pst file in an Exchange Server 2010 environment

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You run the New-MailboxExportRequest cmdlet to export a personal folder (.pst) file on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 server.
  • You run the Inbox Repair tool (Scanpst.exe) on the .pst file.
In this scenario, recipients in some email messages are missing when you open the .pst file.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
2529939 Description of Update Rollup 3 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1
