A PDF attachment from a Mac Mail client is not displayed when you use Outlook 2010 to open the email message in an Exchange Server 2007 SP3 environment

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a server that has Update Rollup 3 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 3 (SP3) installed.
  • You use a Mac Mail client to send an email message that includes a PDF attachment to a mailbox on the server. 
  • You open the email message by using Outlook 2010.
In this scenario, the PDF attachment in the email message is not displayed.

Note The PDF attachment is displayed when you open the email message by using Outlook Web Access (OWA).

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
