You cannot run the “Move-CsManagementServer” cmdlet in Lync Server 2010

Symptoms

Assume that you cannot run the Enable-CsTopology cmdlet in the Lync Server Management Shell on a computer that running Microsoft Lync Server 2010. In this situation, you also cannot run the Move-CsManagementServer cmdlet.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
2500444 Description of the cumulative update for Lync Server 2010, Core Components: April 2011

Note After you apply this update, the Enable-CsTopology cmdlet is made optional before the Move-CsManagementServer cmdlet is run.
