INTRODUCTION

With the optional update in this update package, you can use pointing devices that use absolute coordinates to connect to a local station on a computer that is running Windows MultiPoint Server 2010. Apply this update only if the following conditions are true:
  • You are using a pointing device that uses absolute coordinates to report the pointer location on the desktop.

    Note Some examples of pointing devices are certain kinds of touch screens and of interactive whiteboards.
  • You want the pointing device to connect to a local station on the computer that is running Windows MultiPoint Server 2010.
