External controls can lose focus in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009

Symptoms

In a very specific situation, a 3rd party control which was showing an internet page or a pdf document in a subform could lose focus so that the user was not able to zoom or activate the control. This issue is very specific and unlikely to cause problems in any other situation.

This problem is solved in build 32329.

This is an internal article only.

This problem happens in a situation where a partner is using NAV in a way that it is not strictly designed to be used, and extremely unlikely to solve any other cases ever. Problem is very specific to one partner's specific integration into their own external component.
