Symptoms

Assume that you create a purchase order that contains miscellaneous charges (Misc. charges) in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the Brazilian localization layer installed. When you inquiry the total on the purchase order, the Misc. charges are doubled in the total price of the purchase order. The amount in the Invoice amount field is incorrect.

Cause

This problem occurs because the Misc. charges are added two times in the \Classes\PurchTotals\calc method.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
