You cannot resume a tablet computer that has no input device installed after the tablet computer does not resume from hibernation successfully in Windows 7

After you install the hotfix, a new Boot Configuration Data (BCD) option enables you to set a time-out for the Windows resume loader menu. When the time-out is reached, the resume data is discarded and the computer restarts automatically.

To set the time-out value, at a command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: For example, to set the time-out to 120 seconds, at a command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
