FIX: The installed license terms for the SQL Server Transact-SQL language service is in Chinese when you upgrade a German version of Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1

Symptoms

When you upgrade a German version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the installed Microsoft Software License Terms file for the SQL Server Transact-SQL language service is in Chinese. However, you would expect the installed license terms file to be in German.

By default, the license terms file is installed to the following location:

On a 64-bit-based computer:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\SDK\Assemblies\en
On a 32-bit-based computer:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\SDK\Assemblies\en
Note During the installation of the German version of Visual Studio 2010 SP1, the license terms are displayed in German.
