The search daemon file grows very large when you set the value of ForceClaimACLs to 1 in SharePoint Server 2010

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 is installed on Domain A.
  • You configure the value of ForceClaimACLs to 1 by following the steps that are described in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 2344518.
  • You run a full crawl to enable the new access control list (ACL) format across the content.
In this scenario, the search daemon file grows very large. For example, the file size is 8 to 10 gigabytes (GBs).
