"Organizational unit (OU) or container does not exist" error message when you run the "New-CsAdminRole" command together with the UserScope parameter in a Lync Server 2010 environment

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You run the New-CsAdminRole command together with the UserScope parameter in Microsoft Lync Server Management Shell. You do this tocreate a new role-based access control (RBAC) role, and to specify the user management to an organizational unit (OU). The OU is located in another domain that differs from the domain that you log on to. In this scenario, you receive the following error message:

New-CsAdminRole : Organizational unit (OU) or container "<OU information>" does not exist. Specify a valid OU or container, and then try again

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
