A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Fix it for me
To fix this problem automatically, click the
Fix it button or link. Then click
Run in the
File Download dialog box, and follow the steps in the
Fix it wizard.
Notes- This wizard may be in English only. However, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows.
- If you are not on the computer that has the problem, save the Fix it solution to a flash drive or a CD and then run it on the computer that has the problem.

Let me fix it myself
After you install the hotfix package, follow these steps to enable the hotfix for the first issue:
- Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
- Locate and then select the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\Options
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type TextAnimationOnLayout, and then press ENTER.
- In the details pane, right-click TextAnimationOnLayout, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
