FIX: A TA1 interchange acknowledgement is not returned when you use a two-way receive port to receive EDI interchanges in BizTalk Server

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Assume that on a computer that is running Microsoft BizTalk Server, you use a two-way receive port to receive Electronic Document Interchange (EDI) interchanges and return a TA1 interchange acknowledgement. In this scenario, the TA1 interchange acknowledgement is not delivered. Additionally, you receive a routing failure message for the TA1 interchange acknowledgement in the group hub page in the BizTalk Server Administration Console.

Note Typically, you have to select the Route ACK to send pipeline on request-response receive port agreement property when you develop this scenario. For detailed information about how to do this, see the "More Information" section.
