A section that has the same name as a tag in another section in the CCF configuration file is not saved in a Customer Care Framework 2009 Service Pack 1 environment

Symptoms

You have Microsoft Customer Care Framework (CCF) 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed. In the XML body of the CCF 2009 configuration file, you have a configuration section that contains a tag name that is the same as the name of another configuration section. In this scenario, the other configuration section is not saved when the CCF 2009 configuration file is saved.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Prerequisites

You must apply this hotfix to a computer that is running Microsoft Customer Care Framework 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

Restart information

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must restart the Internet Information Services (IIS) service.
