After you obtain and install Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1), you must also add an entry to the Windows registry. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the Start menu, click Run. In the Open box, type regedit. Click OK.
- In the left pane of Registry Editor, click the plus signs (+) next to the following items (in order):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Office
9.0
Excel
- In the left pane, click the Options folder.
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type QFE_Calgary, and then press ENTER.
- Double-click the QFE_Calgary icon.
- In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
This change takes effect the next time that you start Excel.
