More Information

The hotfix is to be installed on the Configuration Manager 2007 site server. The hotfix contains a client patch file that needs to be installed to the Windows XP virtual machine that has the ConfigMgr 2007 SP2 client. The patch can be deployed with the base image for the MED-V workspace or manually installed later.

After you install the hotfix on the site server, the client patch file (.MSP) is moved to the following path on the site server: \<Configuration Manager Install Folder>\client\<platform>\hotfix\KB2278056\

Additionally, a wizard is started to guide you through the package creation and the patch distribution to the client computers.
