Consider the following scenario:
- You insert some linked objects that are located on a network share into a Microsoft Word 2010 document.
- You configure the linked objects to be updated manually.
- You save and then close the document.
- You click to clear the Update automatic links at open check box in Word 2010 options.
- You set the value of the NoActivateOleLinkObjAtOpen registry value to 1.
