Consider the following scenario:
Note To create a sample test file, paste the following lines in Notepad, and then save the file as an .rtf file.
- You have a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
- You have an .rtf file that contains both a font that has a long font name in the Font table and an alternative font that is specified in the Font table.
- You run an application that uses the RichTextBox control that is provided by Msftedit.dll to open the .rtf file. For example, you run WordPad to open the .rtf file.
