In some instances Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center may display different album art for the same tracks and albums. This may vary depending on the specific library settings set in either application. Album art can be directly embedded into the media files (typically MP3 and WMA) and can be stored as hidden JPG's such as Folder.jpg, AlbumArtSmall.jpg, ZuneAlbumArt.jpg, AlbumArt_[GUID]_Large.jpg, etc. It is best to verify that these various copies of album art all match correctly.
To help rectify this you may need to reset the art cache for both applications by deleting the below directories for each user on the system:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player\Art Cache
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ehome\Art Cache
In most instances after verifying the album art that is stored for each track and album, both Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center will use the album art displayed for the folder in Windows Explorer.
