Mspadmin.exe may crash if you do not use SQL Server Express to log traffic in Forefront TMG 2010

Symptoms

When Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010 uses the W3C or Forefront TMG native text file format to log traffic, Mspadmin.exe may crash, and the following event is logged:
Event: 1000
Faulting application mspadmin.exe, version version number, time stamp hex, faulting module ntdll.dll, version version number, time stamp hex, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset hex, process id process id, application start time hex time.
Note By default, Forefront TMG 2010 uses SQL Server Express to log traffic.

Cause

This issue occurs because of a race condition in the text logging component in Forefront TMG 2010.

Update information
