Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You configure a Conference Auto Attendant (CAA) access number on a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 server.
  • A Lync 2010 user calls the CAA access number.
  • The user enters a conference ID.
In this scenario, the CAA cannot transfer the user to the conference. Additionally, you receive the following error message in the trace file:

The owner of the object passed does not match the original owner.

Cause

This issue occurs because a race condition occurs when the conference attendee communicate with the focus component to join the conference.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
