Problem when generating references to Web Services that does not end with the ".asmx" extension in the Brazilian localization layer

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When generating the Web Service references int the NF-e (federal) form, if the URL addresses (from any Brazilian State) do not end with the ".asmx" extension, when clicking on the Generate button, the following error is shown:

"Unable to get the WSDL for the URL https://homologacao.nfe2.fazenda.pr.gov.br/nfe/NFeRecepcao2"

Cause

Some Brazilian States like Paraná or Minas Gerais, for example, deployed the WSDL of the Web Services in a different way than other States like São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul. This difference causes AX to not be able to generate the Web Service references for these URL's.

Resolution

The following workaround exist for this issue:

1. For customers that have the Hotfix Rollup 5 applied (Build # 5.0.1500.2985), apply the KB # 2405516. This KB is required to fix a critical bug of the NF-e feature.

NOTE: KB # 2405516 refers to the Hotfix Rollup 6 and is an essential part of the described workaround.

2. Go to the Basic Module, click Setup, click Brazil, click Brazilian Parameters.

3. Apply the addresses of the Web Services from São Paulo State for each kind of Web Service and click the Generate button.

4. Change the address of the Web Services from São Paulo State to the State in which the customer is located, do not click the Generate button, just save the changes.
