"SQL Server Message 7133" occurs when you change an internal note in the "Note Editor (44.280.00)" screen from the "EDI Customer Maintenance (44.201.00)" screen

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in eCommerce Gateway - EDI Edition in Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 Service Pack 3 (SP3):
  • You click the Internal Notes button in the EDI Customer Maintenance (44.201.00) screen.
  • You enter a note in the Note Editor (44.280.00) screen, and then you click OK.
  • You reopen the Note Editor (44.280.00) screen, you change the note, and then you click OK.
In this scenario, when you click OK, you receive the following error message:
SQL Server Message 7133
NULL textptr (text, ntext, or image pointer) passed to WRITE TEXT function.
Debugging info: dbsqlexec,SqlCompile - ExecuteDbproc 2
Cursor(csr_SnoteConCat) EDConCat_Note '%', 2097184, '', '

Resolution
