XL2000: Dashed Series Lines Appear Solid in Excel 2000

Symptoms

When you open a file in Microsoft Excel 2000, some of the charts are displayed differently than they were in earlier versions of Excel. Data series that were displayed as a dashed line in earlier versions of Excel now appear solid. The data series are printed as a solid line rather than as a dashed line.

Cause

This problem may occur if you created the chart in Excel 5.0 or 7.0.

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
