The Cust ID value on the Service Call Entry (SD.200.00) screen is updated incorrectly when multiple service calls are opened from the Graphical Dispatch Board (SD.900.00) in Microsoft Dynamics SL

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Service Dispatch in Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 Feature Pack 1 (FP1):
  • You have more than one service call that is listed on the Graphical Dispatch Board (SD.900.00) screen.
  • You right-click one of the service calls, and then you open the service call in the Service Call Entry (SD.200.00) screen.
  • You click the icon to the left side of the Cust ID box to open the Customer Maintenance (08.260.00) screen.
  • You make a change in the Customer Maintenance (08.260.00) screen. But you do not save the change, and you do not close the screen.
  • You open a second service call in the Service Call Entry (SD.200.00) screen from the Graphical Dispatch Board (SD.900.00) screen.
  • You save the change that you made in the Customer Maintenance (08.260.00) screen.
When you do this, you notice that the value in the Cust ID box of the second service call is changed to the same value as in the Cust ID box of the first service call. You expect the value in the Cust ID box to remain unchanged for the second service call.
