INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the appearance of certain charts in Microsoft Excel 2010 in the following scenarios:
  • When you open an Excel 4.0 formatted workbook that contains a chart in Excel 2010, you find that the chart is displayed incorrectly.
  • Consider the following Scenario:
    • You open a workbook that was created in an earlier version of Excel in Excel 2010. The workbook contains some charts.
    • You save the workbook as an Excel 2010 workbook.
    • You change the path of the workbook to another directory in your local system, and then you reopen the workbook.
    In this scenario, the charts in the workbook are not displayed.
Note These issues occur when the data resource for a chart in the workbook is located in a separate .dat file.

Hotfix information
