INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

Consider the following scenario:
  • You use the 2010 Microsoft Office system to open an Office document.
  • The Office document contains a gradient filled shape.
  • You save the Office document in PDF format.
In this scenario, a duplicate gradient stop may be created at the center of the gradient. This causes a duplicate entry to be added to the bounds array that is used by the gradient’s stitching function in the PDF document. However, the duplicate entry in the bounds array is invalid according to the PDF specification.

Hotfix information
