Symptoms

When you use Outlook Web Access (OWA) on Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 Service Pack 2 to delete a folder, the folder is deleted permanently.

The folder is not moved to the Deleted Items folder as expected before it is permanently deleted.

Resolution

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 Service Pack 2. This problem was first corrected in Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 4.
