Symptoms

When you use an Excel query table to import a table a from Microsoft Access database as a Microsoft Data Access Objects (DAO) recordset, you receive either of the following error messages:
Server threw an exception
-or-
Method Refresh of object _QueryTable failed

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
