FIX: OLE DB provider for DB2 may stop responding when the CNTQRY and QRYDTA messages are sent in Host Integration Server 2009 or in Host Integration Server 2010

Symptoms

When you run some queries for a DB2 database in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 or in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010, the queries might not return any values. However, the OLE DB provider for DB2 may incorrectly miss the End-of-Row marker. Therefore, the provider enters an infinite loop when the Continue Query (CNTQRY) and Query Answer Set Data (QRYDTA) messages are sent. This infinite loop causes the provider to stop responding.

Hotfix information

To apply this hotfix, you must have Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 or Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 installed.
