A "mailto:" link does not work when a Word document is converted to a SharePoint Publishing webpage in SharePoint Server 2010

Symptoms

When you convert a Word document to a Microsoft SharePoint Publishing webpage and that document contains a “mailto” link, the corresponding link on the converted SharePoint Publishing webpage does not work.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, apply the following updates:
2276342 Description of the SharePoint Server 2010 hotfix package (spswfe-x-none.msp, osrchwfe-x-none.msp): August 31, 2010
