Assume that you use a variant on a released production order for an item that is set as purchase replenishment and with the subcontract specified in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. When you run the
Calculate Subcontract function on the released production order in the
Calculating Subcontracting Worksheet dialog box, you receive an error message that resembles as follows:
Qty. per Unit of Measure must not be 0 in Requisition Line Worksheet Template Name = "FOR LABOR", Journal Batch Name='DEFAULT', Line No. '10000'.
This problem occurs in the following products:
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0
This problem occurs because the Calculate Subcontract function tries to copy the purchase discount and the purchase prices for the subcontracted item. However, the system does not use the released production order correctly when the variant is involved.
