Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You try to use the AND.DB() function or the OR.DB() function in a Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 site or in a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 site. The function has more than 40 parameters defined. In this scenario, you receive the following error message:  

Cannot complete this action.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, apply the following hotfix packages:
2276338 Description of the SharePoint Server 2010 hotfix package (acsrvwfe-x-none.msp): August 31, 2010
2266423 Description of the SharePoint Foundation 2010 hotfix package (Sts-x-none.msp): August 31, 2010
