In FrontPage, when you create or open an additional web, another instance of FrontPage appears to run.
NOTE: In earlier versions of FrontPage, it was not possible to open more than one web at a time.

FrontPage 2000 uses the Single Document Interface (SDI) design, in which each web occupies its own window (just as in Microsoft Outlook, each message occupies its own window). This behavior is different from earlier versions of FrontPage.
In the Single Document Interface, only one instance of the FrontPage program (Frontpg.exe) is running. To confirm this, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to display the Windows Task list. Note that only one instance of Microsoft FrontPage is listed.
NOTE: For users of Windows NT 4.x, when you press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to display the Task list, you see every instance of an open document as a separate task on the Applications tab. However, clicking the Processes tab shows one instance of Frontpg.exe currently running.
NOTE: Because the Single Document Interface is a new design feature of FrontPage 2000, it cannot be turned off.
