ACC2000: Fonts and Background Colors Change Randomly in a Form That Has Embedded Objects

Symptoms

When you open an Access 2000 form that displays an embedded Microsoft Word 2000 document, the fonts in Access 2000 may become damaged and background colors may change if the Word document includes an embedded AutoCAD drawing. Specific symptoms may include:
  • The background color of controls in forms may change randomly.
  • The background color and font size of tables in Datasheet view may change randomly.
  • The background color and font size of property sheets may change randomly.
You may experience these symptoms even if you open the Access form in Design view.

This behavior occurs because of the Word 2000 document that contains the embedded AutoCAD drawing.
