Symptoms

You use Windows Internet Explorer 8 to view a website that uses the "Prototype.js" JavaScript framework. You right-click anywhere on the website and then click Properties. In this situation, Internet Explorer 8 crashes.

For example, you use Internet Explorer 8 to view a website that contains the following script:

In this example, Internet Explorer 8 crashes when you right-click anywhere on the website.
