To work around this issue, temporarily rename your ASP files with an .htm file name extension, add them to the navigation structure, and then rename them so that they have an .asp file name extension again. To do so, follow these steps:
- Switch to Folder view.
- Locate the ASP file or files to which you plan to add child nodes.
- Rename the page or pages with an .htm file name extension.
- Switch to Navigation view.
- Position the pages where you want them in Navigation view.
- After the navigation structure is complete, rename the pages so that they have an .asp file name extension again.
NOTE: If you need to make a change to the navigation structure--for example, move one ASP page to a different parent node--you must follow these steps again.
