Clicking Next fails to advance user to the next page of the ADMT 3.2 computer migration wizard if the "read objects from an include file" radio button is selected

Symptoms

When you use the Computer Migration Wizard in Active Directory Migration Tool version 3.2, the option to specify an include file for computer migration objects does not function correctly. If you select the “Read objects from an include file" option in the wizard, you cannot proceed to the next wizard page. The following steps show how this problem is reproduced:
  1. Right click the top-left node in ADMT 3.2 and select "Computer Migration Wizard."
  2. When the Welcome to the Computer Migration Wizard appears, click Next.
  3. In the Domain Selection page, populate the source and target domain and domain controller and click Next.
  4. In the Computer Selection Option page of the wizard, click the "read objects from an include file" radio button.
Observed Behavior: Clicking the Next > button does not advance the user to the next page of the wizard.

Expected behavior: In previous versions of ADMT, clicking the Next button allows you to continue completing the Computer Migration Wizard.

Cause

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a known issue in ADMT v3.2.

Resolution

As a workaround, you can specify the include file by running ADMT from the command line. For example, to specify an include file for computer migration as part of an intraforest migration, type the following command:

ADMT computer /F:<include file> /IF:YES /SD:"<source_domain>” /TD:"<target_domain>" /TO:"<target_OU>"
