Symptoms

Cause

This problem occurs because the LoadHistory, SaveHistory, and IISAppendToLog components check ASP.NET context. However, it is not necessary for these components to check ASP.NET context, and in some scenarios, this check may cause issues. The Advertising pipeline includes these three components. Therefore, this problem occurs.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix to the server that is running Commerce Server 2007 or Commerce Server 2009.
