To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix. After the hotfix is installed, the Host Integration Server Configuration Tool does not try to validate the credentials that the user supplied. The credentials (user name, domain, and password) are stored in the registry for use by the Host Integration Server client. The password is encrypted before it is stored in the registry. Then, the user is no longer prompted to enter the credentials when the user connects to a server that is running Host Integration Server.
